The Hunger Within Workshop, previously conducted at the University of Michigan Michigan Medicine, is designed to unravel the repetitive "life script" which keeps a person stuck in old patterns of relating to food and body weight. The Hunger Within utilizes a unique blend of cognitive behavioral and transactional analysis concepts enveloped in an experientially designed treatment modality. This approach encourages behavioral change by probing and tapping those intellectual and psychological defenses that fuel and drive disordered eating patterns.
